How to Play

Move your pieces according to their specific movement rules. The General can only move one square at a time within the fortress. Advisors must stay within diagonal moves within the palace. Elephants move exactly two squares diagonally and cannot move to the opponent's side. Knights move one square straight and then one square diagonally, if not impeded by adjacent pieces. Chariots move any number of squares straight, acting as powerful attackers. Cannons move like chariots but must require a screen piece to capture exactly one piece. Soldiers move forward one square and attack sideways after crossing the river. Remove the opponent's general to win the game. Strategize your moves carefully to checkmate the computer opponent.
